When it comes to freebies and deals, CVS is the undisputed king. We cracked into the CVS system and found five easy ways for you to get freebies and discounts.
Save 3x more.
CVS offers exclusive inbox-only discounts that enable you to save 3x more money. Just sign up for CVS emails and start saving. Adding your email address to your ExtraCare®card account while you register is another way to sign up. You'll start getting weekly offers in your mailbox, such as 20% off, $5 off $20, and $3 off $15.
Look for items that are "free after rebate."
In-store, CVS has a lot of “free after rebate” products. Just look for the tag that says, "free after rebate". You can find these items on the shelf or in the weekly flyer. The online Rebate Center also has a list of available mail-in rebates.
Grab exclusive online discounts.
You'll find "Online Offers" in the "Deals" tab at the very bottom of CVS.com. When you hit "Online Offers," you'll see dozens of new exclusive offers, such as 25% off all beauty items or a free $10 cash card for every $30 spent.
Spend 98% of the ECB promo amount to earn the reward.
If a promotion states, "Get $5 in ExtraCare®Bucks (ECB) when you spend $20," you just need to spend $19.60, or 98 percent of $20, to receive the $5 payout.
Get exclusive savings on CVS brands.
CVS often offers exclusive discounts on labels such as Beauty 360 and CVS Health. These store brands often have cheaper prices to begin with plus ECB coupons, so you might end up with free items.
Earn $50 ECB.
Enroll in ExtraCare®Pharmacy and Health Rewards to earn up to $50 ECBs per year. You'll get $5 ECBs for every 10 credits you earn. Any time you refill a prescription, you'll get one credit, so 10 prescription refills will earn you $5 in ECBs.
